I have been obsessed with food since I can remember. I grew up watching the Frugal Gourmet and Julia Childs in black and white repeats on TV. It’s only gotten worse as the years go by. In the mornings, I ask my co-workers what’s for lunch, what they ate last night and what is on the menu tonight. If I don’t call Mr. Cheese by 10 am to discuss what might be for dinner on any particular evening, he might just start to worry. When he and I first met, we would spend time during our first few dates pretending to be food critics while out to dinner. He would grill the servers about what spices were in what dish, speaking of pretend allergies, just to watch them squirm to come up with the answers. I was technically trained and once worked as a formal chef but physically that takes its toll so I joined the much less strenuous, albeit entertaining, world of HR. Food is still at the forefront of my mind as I continue to cook and love all things food. Enjoy!

Hi there Ramblings of a Foodie,
My name is Carl Papa. I’m a junior at the University of Michigan and am interning at Hot 99.5 this summer. I was wondering if you would possibly be interested in publishing a blog with this link or voting yourself in our Hotty awards which determine the hottest food, people, places, and things going on in DC. I am attempting to get as many people to hear about this as possible so we know what is the best of the best!!! Check it out and please get back to me when you have a chance. Thanks.
